Hello, I'm Andrea, the Director of the SIC Dance Festival 2024, an event series aiming to promote dance culture and art in the heart of Salento. This project is particularly important to me because I firmly believe in the power of art as a tool for cultural and social growth. Dance, in particular, has the unique ability to bring people together, cross linguistic and cultural barriers, and inspire joy and inclusion.

Artists from all over the world are invited to participate, and their performances will be open and free in public spaces of the city.

This festival is about "transformation" because, starting from the Salentine cultural roots, it aims to infuse them with cutting-edge contemporary European dance.

We are raising funds to make this festival an unforgettable experience, not only for the participants but also for the entire Salento community. The funds raised will be used to cover production costs, pay artists and professionals involved, and ensure that every aspect of the festival is meticulously cared for. Beyond performances, the festival's core includes 6 intensive training workshops and an Artist Residency funded by the organization.

The non-profit organization "Kayros en Kinesis" will receive the funds through a transparent and direct process. Every contribution will be tracked and used in the most effective way and in accordance with the festival's objectives. Every donation, large or small, will make a significant difference and help bring this extraordinary event to our beloved Salento region.
